The Bean and Tsironi Fish Festival was held with great success
in Lemos of Prespes
The Bean and Tsironi Fish Festival was a celebration with a cross-border atmosphere, organized by the Municipality of Prespes on Friday, September 9, in the courtyard of the Prespes Town Hall.
Dance and music groups from Albania, the Republic of North Macedonia and Greece, met in a cultural event highlighting the local products of Prespes, with the sounds of brass instruments from the Florina Band of the Balkani brothers.
All the people who participated in the celebration, tasted dishes prepared by local cooks based on Prespes beans and Tsironi fish from the lakes of Prespes.
The celebration is co-financed by the Cross-Border Cooperation Program INTERREG IPA «Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020» in the context of the integrated act HOLYWATER.
