In a very lovely event of the Municipality of Prespa, which took place on the pedestrian street of Korai in Athens, the local products, the unique natural environment and the cultural values of Prespa were presented. All the above characteristics compose the touristic product of a special place, which invites us to explore it!

The brasses of the famous Florina Band set the tone of the event and the dancers of the cultural association “Lygistes” spread the fun, while the hot bean soup and baked beans were the best ambassadors of the local products of Prespa.

At the event, the Mayor of Prespa, Mr. Panagiotis Paschalidis, had the pleasure of welcoming the Member of Parliament for Florina Ms. Peti Perka, the former Minister and Artistic Director of the Prespa Organization Mr. George Lianis, the Member of Parliament and former Minister Mr. Dimitris Vritos, many people from Florina who live in Athens and, of course, the residents of the capital who attended the event of the Municipality of Prespa.

The event took place in the framework of the cross-border project HOLYWATER funded by the Interreg program, led by the Municipality of Prespa and with partners the Municipality of Resen, the Bitola Museum, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Florina and the Society for the Protection of Prespa.
