The Bean & Tsironi Fish Festival is organized once again this year, after a hiatus of two years, on Friday, September 9^th, at 8:00 p.m. in Lemos, in the courtyard of the Prespes Town Hall.

The Festival aims to highlight the two most important products of the land and the lakes of Prespes, the bean and the tsironi fish, while giving both the residents of Prespes and the visitors, the opportunity to bid a festive farewell to summer.

During the event, everyone will be offered free dishes based on beans and tsironi fish, which will be traditionally cooked by local cooks.

The dance groups of the Lygistes Greek Traditional Dance Association and dance groups from the neighboring Municipality of Pustec in Albania and Bitola in North Macedonia will participate in the celebration and will dance to the sounds of brass instruments from the Florina Band of the Valkani brothers.

The celebration is co – financed by the Cross – Border Cooperation Program INTERREG IPA “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020”.
